These delightful small purple (violets?) are from the archives, May 2009. Man and I were visiting Fort Wayne Indiana, where I found these little jewels tucked in at the base of a tree. The blooms were between .5 and 1 inch in diameter.

Carol, I love these...they are delicate and sweet. I love the way it's nestled in the base of the tree...great photo, Carol.
Carol, yes violets. They grow like weeds around here, and I pull them out as quickly as I can in April. Lovely to look at tho.
