Found sunning along the Andreas Canyon hiking trail, Indian Canyons, Palm Springs, California. He/she was not too skittish, he allowed me to take over 30 photos in a matter of minutes. All other lizards spotted that day were running as fast as they could and I could not get one photo of any of them.

Not a personable as the gopher, but he was cooperative. He really blends in with his enviroment.
He's quite healthy Carol and living the good life basking in the sun! We found a blue belly lizard inside our screened-in-patio...rare anymore in these parts I am told.
