Reflection's Flora and Fauna
A collection of my photos of flora and fauna, and maybe now and then,
something else that catches my attention and just will not let go.
Maybe even with little verbage, which is pretty hard for this gal.

One Year Ago Today

.
I started this blog, thinking I would post a photo a day of flora or fauna, or maybe a subject a day, as sometimes just one photo will not do!

Well, I did  it!  A full year of photos, every day, none missed.  I did cheat once or twice, Christmas day was a bit of a cheat, as it was the interior of a beautiful Catholic church, but there were flowers there, so, no cheat after all!  LOL  Thanksgiving last year, however was a full cheat, as I did not have a photo in my cache that worked, so, I borrowed some clip art.

Anyway, for the most part you have shared with me a journey, 365 days full of photos of flora and fauna.  Thanks for coming along. I won't lie, sometimes it has been a bit of a chore, keeping up, day after day, especially while on THE Trip!  Finding the time was a challenge.  That said THE Trip sure has provided some great photo fodder!  WAHHOOOO.

When checking the stats, about 80 posts received no comments, I never figured photos of flowers and animals would get many comments at all.  Interestingly, 4 posts have each received 7 comments, one of those was of my yorkie Gallagher and the other 3 were all of hummers!  I am humbled at all the comments that you leave.  Thank you all.

I am pre-scheduling this post, as as of now, about 1 month prior to publication, I find that I have had about 5,300 reads on this blog (noting, my reads, or previews of posts to come, do not count in the total, smart counters allow you to ignore your own hits!  Smart, eh?)  Again, thank you so much for dropping by.

Now that I have managed to survive the year, I am not quite sure if I will keep up a daily post, but, habits are hard to break, so, stay tuned as we all see what will happen next.

Today's offering, my grandmother's lilly, delicate and not suitable for outside planting.

Congratulations! And, I'm glad you started this blog, since it is always the first one I go to. Your stats were interesting too. FYI, I never comment on bees or other bugs!

I have enjoyed this blog so much and hope that you continue to post at least occasionally - you have a good eye and do your subjects justice.

Thank you all so very very much! Stay tuned, I do have a few more in the que.

I am tickled that I was able to do a full year, shocked that I made it! OK, patting my self on the back a bit because I did make it! LOL

Amazing! :-)
