Reflection's Flora and Fauna
A collection of my photos of flora and fauna, and maybe now and then,
something else that catches my attention and just will not let go.
Maybe even with little verbage, which is pretty hard for this gal.

Mobile Kapoot. Visitors Please Use Computers to View Now

Copyright 2019, CABS for Reflections Flora and Fauna

Well, it appears that many of my blogs and blog posts are no longer viewable on mobile devices.

I have NOT changed ONE thing on this blog for months, but all of a sudden I cannot view my own posts on my iToys.

If I did nothing, and I can see all this on the computer I can only surmise that somehow Google, Google Photos and Blogger have made some change.

I cannot figure it out. I have had others look at it, briefly, they cannot figure it out.

They might be able to figure it out if I fork over some ca$h.

Seeing that this has been pure hobby and there is NO income producing, NONE, the likelyhood of my paying someone to fix this is

well, NILL.

SOOO, if you are really interested in viewing my flora and fauna posts, I am sorry to say, you will just have to use a computer to try.

Mobile is DOA.

Thanks for visiting, it was fun.

European Union Stuff

.
Copyright 2018, CABS for Reflection's Flora and Fauna

This European Union GDPR stuff is confusing at best.

I have done some incomplete research on the subject, I sure am confused, as are many legal eagles.  Seriously, if they can't figure it out, how do you think I am going to?

From this article, I feel I do not have to take ANY action, and, here is my reasoning, directly quoted from this article:

"Exemptions and Derogations
While the GDPR has broad implications for commerce, it nonetheless exempts certain entities or activities from compliance. Below is a non-exhaustive review of key exemptions.

Personal or household activity
Article 2(2c) states that the regulation does not apply for data processing :by a natural person in the course of a purely personal or household activity”."

I believe this is purely personal and a household activity.  I have NEVER monetized any of my blogs or web sites.

I have deleted the email follow widget, the subscribe widget and the followers widget, as a matter of prudence.  If you make a comment here you will note I have a disclaimer about email contact via that format.

The Bee and it's Wisteria ? Cottonwood, Arizona NOPE Arizona Mountain Laurel

Copyright 2017, CABS for Reflection's Flora and Fauna

OK, I"ll say it, who knew wisteria (or a family member) would be found growing near Cottonwood Arizona.  It is positively the first time I have seen it here.

It was at a fish hatchery, although I have no idea what that has to do with anything.

Stepped out of the truck and spied it.  It was busy hosting a number of bees having a feed.

No, I cannot take just one photo - -

I was rather taken by the golden/copper colors of this creatures wings.

Tampa Zoo: Southern White Rhino

Copyright 2016, CABS for Reflection's Flora and Fauna

The Tampa Lowry Zoo has babies.  We visited just to see babies.  We were successful and enjoyed our day tremendously.

Here is Ahadi, a southern white Rhino, born May 21, 2015.  The heavy lines are to protect the creatures from man, eh?

Tampa Zoo:: The Baby Elephants Playing in the Pool

Copyright 2016, CABS for Reflection's Flora and Fauna

Our visit to the Tampa Lowry Zoo was to visit babies.  The elephants caught my attention for 11 minutes and almost 70 photos.  Yes, they were that cute.  I'll confess, I have never seen elephants play and swim in the water the way these two did.  The larger (I am assuming from birthdates) is Mpumi, born December 23, 2012.  The slightly smaller is Mavi, born on July 29, 2013.

Enjoy the show:

Tampa Zoo: The Baby Zebra

Copyright 2016, CABS for Reflection's Flora and Fauna

Our visit recently to the Tampa Lowry Zoo was a hunt for babies.  We found them.  And, enjoyed them.  Meet Ruuxa, born January 15, 2016. Ruuxa is the first of the Harmann's Mountain Zebra born at the Lowry zoo.  In the first photo you can see her size in relation to the giraffe.
