Reflection's Flora and Fauna
A collection of my photos of flora and fauna, and maybe now and then,
something else that catches my attention and just will not let go.
Maybe even with little verbage, which is pretty hard for this gal.

Yellow-Headed Jawfish

.

Wildlife World Zoo & Aquarium

These small (only 3 to 4 inches long) fish were fascinating to watch, poking their heads in and out of their "burrows".  The Wikipedia page does not tell us a lot, except interesting to note, the males carry the eggs in their mouths till the young hatch.

Note:  auto-correct was used to remove the very green tint to these photos, a bit of sharpening was also done to crisp up the edges.  They moved fairly quickly and being so small, they were a challenge to capture at all.  They were entertaining to watch.
