Reflection's Flora and Fauna
A collection of my photos of flora and fauna, and maybe now and then,
something else that catches my attention and just will not let go.
Maybe even with little verbage, which is pretty hard for this gal.

Hiding in the Bougainvillea

As Man and I were walking around Old Town La Quinta, I was taking photos, mostly of flora.  Then, I heard several of these little fellows flitting around in the leaves of a bougainvillea.  I had to work hard to get a photo, and truth is, I did not think I had anything worth sharing till I uploaded them to the computer, well, lookie here, who is this hiding in the bougainvillea?  Identification has not been attempted.

Once again I am bowled over by the sheer beauty of your photographs. From the beautiful Hummingbirds to this extraordinary photograph of this fine fellow in the Bougainvillea. I do believe he is posing for you. THANK YOU Carol for sharing your wonderful work with us. Cheers! Jennifer

I looked around a bit in my bird book, but I just can't tell. At first I thought it might be a type of grosbeak or bunting.
