Saw lots of this growing in Arizona and Utah. Never really found out what it was. Was hard to photograph, as the spent flowers are small and any little gust of wind blew them all over and out of focus. MMM, it seems to be rather breezy in Arizona and Utah, a LOT!
I like the star like quality, and the straw like quality.
