Reflection's Flora and Fauna
A collection of my photos of flora and fauna, and maybe now and then,
something else that catches my attention and just will not let go.
Maybe even with little verbage, which is pretty hard for this gal.

Wild Rose, Rosa Woodsii

.
Have been spotting wild roses growing all over the Black Hills of South Dakota.  Some of the plants are very short, and others are up to 3 foot tall.

It seems they also attract a variety of bugs, look at all the ones I found when I downloaded my photos!  First some little black dude, almost looks like he is upside down, maybe DOA??

And, this one, some green almost translucent dude.  Ya, this photo is a bit out of focus.

And, wow, look at this guy, he has eyes!!

And, the unfocused, errr, soft look, rain drops collecting.  Kinda different how one drop looks almost golden in color and the rest are clear.  (see drop on left side of the full flower.)

Those poor roses don't stand a chance against the bugs. Love the color.

So pretty, Carol . . . maybe not the bugs but I can see the beauty beyond the beasts! Wonderful photos, Carol.

Love all of it. Wild flowers are not as easy to get a pristine shot of.
