For many years, well over 20, I had a Hoya growing in a pot at the house. It was quite a profuse bloomer. Just after this photo was taken in 2009, it was over taken by some nasty sticky white fuzzy goop, that eventually killed the plant. You can actually see that nasty sticky white fuzzy goop in the middle of this photo, on the stem. I was very sad to see it go, but, I still have a few nice photos of the blooms. I loved how it was a star in a star in a star in a star type bloom.

Pretty to look at anytime, but especially on a snowy day. Thanks.
Beautiful plant Carol...too bad those nasty sticky bugs took over. I had that problem with one of my plants but I think I caught it in time...nature prevails at times.
Wonderful photo Carol, I like the star on star on star too!
It was lovely; such a shame about the evil goop. And they name - associated with my alma mater, Georgetown.
I'd no idea there actually was a Hoya plant. Based on (long ago) experience I'd have thought it might have 7 to nine leaves in a fan shape...
