Mistletoe attaches itself to it's host tree, eventually killing the host. It is a poisonous plant that causes acute gastrointestinal problems including stomach pain, and diarrhea along with low pulse.
And, we kiss under it during the Christmas season, and yes Man claimed a kiss.
