Reflection's Flora and Fauna
A collection of my photos of flora and fauna, and maybe now and then,
something else that catches my attention and just will not let go.
Maybe even with little verbage, which is pretty hard for this gal.

The Roadrunner

I know, kinda a strange photo to post on New Years Day, but,

We have been traveling to the south(west) since 2003 and I have yet to see a LIVE roadrunner, not even one in Texas.

So, the other day, Man and I are visiting the Veteran's Memorial here in Las Cruces New Mexico and just as we were ready to drive out of the parking lot, what do I spy, but not ONE, but TWO roadrunners.

I was as excited as a kid on Christmas morning.  Due to where we were parked, and where the roadrunners were, I had to hand off the camera to Man for photos.  Didn't he do a nice job???

So, at long last, I finally have seen a roadrunner.  I thought he would be taller.  LOL

Happy New Year to all of Reflection's readers, may 2011 bring health, happiness, photo opportunities galore, and a few road runners.

Hurrah! So glad you bagged your bird - or that Man did. Aren't they delightful little creatures?
