The Pocket Gopher, Andreas Canyon, Palm Springs California
While Man and I were hiking in Andreas Canyon this little fella just popped up and said, "Hi Carol". He stayed top side for about one minute while Sony and I went click, click, click. The last photo shows where he was. The Indian guide on duty that morning told us we were pretty lucky to see one of these little fellas.

Yes..I would say you were very lucky! How nice that he stayed long enough to have his picture taken! Seems like he could do something about those grubby teeth though if he's going to smile for the camera...
