Custer State Park, Custer, South Dakota. Man got out and took these, putting Sony to the test, zoomed to the max. This is as close as we got to bighorn sheep anytime during THE Trip. I am lousy at guessing how far away they were, but, maybe 1/8th of a mile?? I could not see them this well without benefit of some kind of binoculars or zooming camera. Good job Sony and thank you Man!

Cuties! Did this guy turn around to smile for the camera?
Nice job!
Whenever I see bighorn sheep I am reminded of our family's trip to Glacier National Park. I took a whole bunch of pictures, including the sheep, only to discover there was no film in the camera! That's a mistake I've never made since. lol
You were able to get fairly close . . . great photos, Carol!
What a bummer Michelle. I agree with Gini, they are great photos.
