Below, our first encounter with a bison, about 15 minutes after first entering Yellowstone National Park.

This last fellow and his "guests" were sauntering along while I was taking photos of prairie dogs at Wind Cave National Park near Custer South Dakota.

Love the buffalo, esp. the babies. You sure got some good shots, while your hands were probably shaking :-).
These are very cool photos, Carol! My favorite is the first one . . . that one is huge!
